On Valentine's Day morning, Hylan slipped me an envelope with tickets to the Mountain West Conference basketball tournament and 3 nights of hotel stays in Las Vegas. BEST VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT EVER! Yes, I meant to shout that. I have not been that excited in a long time!!!
Well, the JIMMER did not disappoint. On Friday, March 11, I got to witness this:

...and we cheered, "You got Jimmered!" I mean, he is that good. If he doesn't win NCAA hoops player of the year, I will be angry. And I don't really get angry.

Yes, finally got that dang New Mexico "monkey" off our backs! Good to see B.D. there celebrating with the team.
Just an electric atmosphere in the Thomas and Mack Center. I don't think I've ever witnessed a player score 33 points in one half, let alone 52 in 0nly 40 minutes of play. I mean, I remember the days of the NBA Jordan, but this is college ball, and I was there in person! Amazing.
Even the New Mexico coach had some love for Jim-Jimmery-Jim-Jim-Jaroo.
Thanks Jimmer for putting Cougar B-ball back on the radar. And thank you Cougar teammates for stepping up to the plate and COUGARING Wofford and Gonzaga.
