Here are some of my favorite recipe titles:
- Rachel Meatball Poppers (can’t figure out if that’s paying homage to Rachael Ray or if it’s made with Rachel meat, hmm…)
- Razzle Dazzle Beef Bites (not sure I’ve ever had a bite of beef that tasted like candy sparkles—isn’t that what it makes you think of?)
- Snappy Joes on Texas Toast (I have to admit this one sounds like some good competition for my category, don't you? :)
- “O My Ganache” Cherry macaroon Torte (seriously, my favorite title of all—besides my own of course!)
Just plum sounds delicious titles (I'm a sucker for the sweets):
- Hot Fudge Marshmallow Monkey Bread (Sounds like a dessert breakfast!)
- Mile-High Peanut Butter-Brownie Pie (too bad the cook isn’t from Denver!)
- Deluxe Triple-Chocolate Cookies (sometimes something classic is just what you want.)
- Hot Fudge Brownie Dessert (same reason as above.)
- Chocolate-Peanut Butter Layered Cupcakes (again, same as above—sounds like something I’d make.)
- Nutty Chocolate Hot Bites (I don’t even know what that means, but I want one!)
- Almond Brownie-Cherry Mousse Torte (Could either be delightful or disastrous, but I’d be willing to try. Yum!)
Not sure what to think about these recipes:
- Persian Date-Filled Cinnamon Roll Muffins (Calling a date Persian makes it sound exotic, but I’m not sure how I feel about them stuffed inside a cinnamon roll, hmm…)
- Tomato-Basil Eggs Alfredo in Bread Baskets (seems like a lot of flavor combos going on and what’s a bread basket, besides a basket for your bread anyway, hmm…)
- Muffuletta Quiche Cups (if you know what Muffuletta is—lunch meats like salami and lots of them, provolone, and an olive salad on focaccia—I’m just not sure how I feel about it stuffed in a “quiche cup,” hmm…)
- Candied Bacon and Apple Canapés (I don’t know about you but although this sounds fancy, I don’t like my bacon candied! Hmm…)
- Chai Brownie Cupcakes with Creamy Froth (What is creamy froth on top of a chai cupcake? Hmm…)
- Raspberry –Chipotle Brownies with Chocolate Ganache (I know it’s trendy to mix spicy heat in chocolate, but this just sounds wrong. Raspberry =good. Brownies=good. Chocolate Ganache=let me bathe in it. But mix that all together with Chipotle=not sounding so good.
