Did you know the average person from Pennsylvania consumes 12 times the amount of pretzels as the average American? Or, on our Herr's Chip Factory tour, the statistic was-- The average American consumes about 4 pounds of pretzels per year; The average person from Philadelphia consumes about 40 pounds of pretzels per year. Either way you bake it, Pennsylvanians like us some pretzels. Remember this post?
