A few weeks ago I had to buy a new hairdryer. I'm not sure why, but I decided to read the instruction pamphlet--maybe I was trying to see what the "ionic styling" feature really meant and how it really affects hair--in any case, number 7 on the directions baffled me a bit.
7. "Never use while sleeping"
Good thing I "save[d] these instructions" so that I don't try to operate my hairdryer while sleeping.
Seriously?

hahaha! I guess they probably mean "Don't use it as a heater". But yeah, seriously??!! Have you ever googled directions to england? It tells you to swim 2000 miles across the ocean...not kidding!
I didn't think of that application (for heat), but it does kinda sorta make sense.
Too bad I'm not that great of a swimmer, or else I'd follow those directions!
I'm half asleep when I use it in the morning before work a lot of times...does that count?
Yes, that one does count! Be careful.
