We walked around City Creek in SLC. It was impressive, overwhelming, and expensive. We didn't buy anything.
We ate at Market Street Grill which apparently was one of Hylan's favorite places to eat at when he went to The U that University up north which shall not be named. It's a gourmet seafood restaurant with a fun twist because the upstairs is designed to feel like the inside of a ship.
But, the Clam Chowder! Omigosh, the Clam Chowder. I commandeered Hylan's bowl and finished it in seconds. (We shared the whole meal.)
And the Strawberry Shortcake! Omigosh, the Strawberry Shortcake was divine. Soft crumb moist yellow cake with strawberry puree, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. So simple but so perfect.
Actually, we walked around the Joseph Smith Memorial Building because it's just so fantastic and we love it. And they take your picture in the family history part of the building.
Then we walked the grounds of Temple Square and I stopped to smell the puff ball flowers that I love the mostest.
Pictures can't even capture the beauty of this place, especially this time of year when the bulbs and a trees are blooming.
Just to prove, I was there.
Purple Pansy Patch.
It was a great night. And we still really love each other a whole bunch.

Awwww, sounds like a wonderful night! Happy Anniversary.
I MUST have some of that cake. Oh my gosh, it looks divine! Ok, I need to stop looking at it or I'm going to have a real problem and Dev will be driving to SLC after work.
Love the Ellis Island pic, ha ha!
